As of Feb 3, 2018, the company operated a total of 395 stores in the US and Canada, as well as 400 company-operated stores in Europe and the Middle East, 157 in Asia and 59 in Central and South America; and licensees operated 650 stores located outside the US and Canada, plus smaller-sized licensee operated concessions located in Asia.

In fiscal 2018, inclusive of licensed stores, the company opened 165 new stores (84 EMEA and 63 APAC) and closed 182 stores (73 APAC, 44 EMEA, 38 US, 24 Canada). In fiscal 2019, the company expects to open 60 stores in Europe, and 60 stores in Asia, in addition to closing 20 to 25 underperforming stores in the US and Canada if sufficient rent reductions are not achieved.

All stores are leased. Stores average approximately 5,000 square feet in the Americas, approximately 3,000 square feet in Europe and the Middle East and approximately 2,000 square feet in Asia and the Pacific. Guess retail stores average 5,100 square feet, and range in size from approximately 1,500 to 13,500 square feet, with most stores between 4,000 and 5,000 square feet. Guess factory outlet stores average 6,000 square feet, and range in size from approximately 2,000 to 11,000 square feet, with most stores between 4,500 and 7,000 square feet. G by Guess stores average 4,800 square feet, and range in size from approximately 4,000 to 7,000 square feet, with most stores between 4,500 and 5,000 square feet. Guess accessories stores average 2,100 square feet, and range in size from approximately 1,000 to 4,000 square feet, with most stores between 1,500 and 2,500 square feet. Marciano Stores average 2,900 square feet, and range in size from approximately 2,000 to 6,500 square feet, with most stores between 2,500 and 3,000 square feet.
