As of Mar 28, 2018, there were 168 restaurants systemwide across 18 states, the District of Columbia and 9 countries internationally, including 95 company-operated restaurants, 10 domestic and 63 international licensed restaurants.

During fiscal 2017, the company opened 26 domestic company-owned restaurants, 3 domestic licensed location and 16 international licensed locations. In the first quarter of 2018, the company opened 5 domestic company-owned restaurants and 4 domestic licensed locations. By 2018 fiscal year end, the company expects to have opened 32 to 35 new domestic company-owned restaurants and 16 to 18 net new licensed locations. The company expects to open at least 10 new domestic restaurants annually for the foreseeable future, and see the potential for at least 450 company-operated domestic restaurants long-term.

All restaurants are leased. Initial lease terms are generally 10 to 20 years, and include the option to renew for two additional 5-year terms.

A typical domestic company-operated restaurant is between 3,000 and 3,500 square feet, with interior seating for between 75 and 100 guests, and sometimes additional outdoor seating.
