At year-end, the company directly or indirectly, through its majority interest in CT REIT, owned the majority of its Canadian Tire store properties. The remaining Canadian Tire stores, as well as almost all of the Mark’s and FGL Sports stores, operate in leased locations. Lease terms are 1-20 years and typically hold options to renew.

Canadian Tire stores range from 3,155 to 134,020 square feet and average approximately 42,000 square feet. PartSource stores average approximately 3,000 square feet, sports stores average approximately 17,000 square feet and Mark's stores average approximately 9,000 square feet.
